Overview

With almost one million young people unemployed, preparing the next generation for the world of work is too important to be left to teachers, tutors and lecturers alone. To enable the economy to grow, business needs a steady stream of work-ready, eager and ambitious young employees.

This is why Working Knowledge exists – we are a social enterprise that creates chances for young people to open doors into employment.

By engaging employers in the full time Further Education curriculum, we help our partner colleges to shape learner destinations and prepare our young people aged 16-19 for the world of work. Based on extensive research, our activities are designed to equip students with the skills most valued by the employers we work with.
