To you, the employer, you make just £550 contribution to the training fee. The government picks up the remaining 95%.
For apprentices aged under 25, you do not need to pay Employers NIC – this could save you c. £1,300. If the apprentice is aged 18 when they start then you get an additional £1000 incentive from the government.
